We all know colors appear differently on various monitors and digital devices. An image on your iPad might look really different than it does on your laptop, and different altogether from how it looks on your computer monitor at work.
(Don’t worry – I won’t tell your boss you are shopping for felt while you should be finishing up that TPS report!)
If you need help, I’ve written up descriptions of all the colors of felt I sell (including the discontinued colors) so that you can have a better idea of what they look like in reality. I tried my best. Hope you think they are accurate. The link will take you to a PDF that you can download or print out for your reference. Of course the best way to see what all the colors are like in person is to get my swatch card set! ๐

We are back from vacation and again shipping felt orders same or next day!

A different felt retailer on Etsy, Giant Dwarf, has gone out of the felt business in order to focus on her lovely wedding accessory line. If you were a customer of hers and want to get more of her ‘fancy felt’ – come to my Etsy shop. I’ve got all her colors plus 90 more. I can easily tell you which colors of mine match hers. They are the exact same material from the same manufacturer (she just changed the names).

On Thursday my little one turns 4! (omg!)
To celebrate, I’m having special deals available only on Facebook. If you do not “like” us on Facebook yet, go do it now and reap the benefits! ๐
There have been 5 daily Facebook deals so far, with two more coming. They can be combined together if you want to save on shipping. Also, they are all still in effect thru the 27th, so if you missed out on #1 you can still “claim” it. The way it works is you just send me a message and let me know what you want, along with your PayPal email address.ย I then invoice you, and once paid, ship the goods.
All deals will expire the 28th so hop to it if you want some good deals on our felt and patterns!

My latest project for Jack’s room was super easy and c-h-e-a-p cheap.ย I got a $5 lamp from IKEA (yes, $5 for the whole thing) and cut out polka dots of all different sizes from the left over felt from the Modern Baby Boy Collection that was used for last week’s safari wall art. I probably cut 80 circles out with my hand punches. (I could have used my Cuttlebug machine and Nestabilities dies, but this time I went old school.) To finish it up I then glued them onto the shade with plain ol’ tacky glue.

Emma wants one now, too. She already has a lamp with a plain white shade so I’m just going to glue the dots (pinks, greens and chocolate brown – Emma’s colors) to her existing shade.

It looks great along side the recycled the paper lanterns from Jack’s Baptism Party!
